Fly to Shangri-La Diqing Airport (DIG) from Kunming, Lijiang, Chengdu, or Chongqing.

Airport → town center: 15–20 min taxi (¥30–40).

  • By Bus/Car:

From Lijiang: 4–5 hrs by bus or private car (mountain road, very scenic).

From Deqin/Meili Snow Mountain: 5–6 hrs by bus.

  • By Train:

High-speed railway under construction; expected in coming years (not yet open).
