Best season to visit

May to October is the best time, especially June to August, when the water volume is at its peak during the rainy season.

Spring (April–May) offers blooming landscapes and fewer crowds.

Autumn (September–October) is also pleasant, with cooler temperatures and good light for photography.

How to get to Huangguoshu Waterfall

From Guiyang:

By High-Speed Train:

Take a train from Guiyang North Station to Anshun West Station (about 40 minutes), then transfer by taxi or local bus to the scenic area (about 1 hour).

By Long-Distance Bus:

From Guiyang Passenger Transport Terminal, take a direct bus to Huangguoshu (around 2.5 hours).

By Car or Private Tour:

About 130 km southwest of Guiyang, a drive takes roughly 2–2.5 hours via the highway.

The entrance ticket usually includes access to the main waterfall, Tianxing Bridge scenic area, and Doupotang Waterfall.
